The course for my first ultramarathon is according to the RD essentially unrunable right now due to a large amount of trees down on the course from the recent winter storms. They are enlisting volunteers to help clear the trail and hoping to have it cleared in time for the race otherwise they may have to cancel. Ugh. Crossing my fingers.

4.1 miles on snow covered trails. Was beautiful, peaceful not a soul out just me in the crisp morning air...then suddenly was a young woman maybe 20...doing a very clear walk of shame home. Quite odd.
Anyways, race is Saturday gonna relax as best I can until then! Weather forecast is about 30 degrees with 40% chance of snow...so perfect IMO.

Oh and for 2013 I'm at 870 miles. I started running again Jan 4th 2013, race is January 4th 2014 so if I finish the race I'll be at 901 miles for a full 365 days of running

My number will be 1875, I overestimated in that other thread. Whoops. I am 125 miles shy of my goal for the year, this is two years in a row where I have fallen short.
