Impressive. I was just trolling around Micro Center this morning for a 1055t...not on the floor yet. As soon as I asked for it the kid went right in the back and looked at it. Siiiigh.
Excellent for AMD. The good news is my wife's pc is a candidate for an upgrade soon. Looks like she might get a Thuban. Will they even sell the PII x4s anymore?
Only one problem I have with those graphs. While informative, they pit 3 $300 cpu's against a $1000 one.

i'm sure this has been asked before, but why is the I7 980X so far ahead of everything else in the AES encryption benchmark?

why are these graphs comparing a thuban at 4.3Ghz with the 930 and 980x at 4.2Ghz?

where are the reviews? you can already buy the cpus but not one damn review from any of the big tech sites. I know I wouldnt buy something without looking at proper reviews and has this even ever happened before? really why the hell would the nda still be in place when the product is already available for purchase?
I ordered 3 hours ago when they first arrived. It was $310 then. Up 5 in 3 hours !The 1055 and 1090 have just hit newegg.
