Since I just bought a Pacific Digital (Samsung 408) 8x8x32 CD writer and do not have any CD-RW media rated over 4x, this seems like a good deal since any CD-RW media rated over 4x seems hard to find.
I would probably order some from the site, except the site wants all your billing information without giving any indication how much shipping they charge.
If shipping was free I would buy plenty.
If you order some, post the shipping charges.

It's kind of hard to link to individual categories, but just go to "Computers" then "Accessories & Supplies" and then "Storage Media." They have 50 pack of 8x CDRs for $10, and 12x for $15.

Michael2, It isn't as good of a deal money-wise, but you can get a 5-pack of Verbatim Datalife Plus 4x-10x CD-RW with jewel cases at Outpost.com for $12.95 with free overnight shipping (well, actually, the media is listed as 1-2 weeks delivery and it took about 1 week for mine to come in). I do not know the quality of the media at QTCCDR, but this Verbatim media is great. Link:

I ordered a 25pk and the shipping was $7.47 for UPS ground for a grand total of $43.72. I don't know about the quality of these discs either, but 10x compatable discs are hard to find. I've tried some many types of media on my Plextor drive and all seem about the same in quality no matter the price. The only ones I did not care for were some Imation cd-r's. I've found Office Depot cd-r's and even the ones from Outpost.com work well and are very cheap. I'll let you guys know how these cd-rw's perform.

I went to Comp USA and it was $13.99 for a 5 pack of TDK CDRW's 4-10X Certified Plus. They are hard to find indeed.

Let us know when you get these if they're any good...I'm eyeing the Verbatim 5-pack at Outpost as well, but I'd rather have a 10-pack of QTCCDR than a 5-pack of Verbatim if the QTCCDR is any good...

I've tried the sony 4-10x cdrw media that came with the drive and found that it performs very well. Hard to find though. I could only find sony 4x cdrw media many place but any higher seems hard to find.
