I'm looking for more information from users of these monitors.
I've got a friend with a couple of them (Acer GD235HZ and LG W2363D-PF) and he swears by the LG for it's near 0 input lag.
I'd like to hear about more monitors if people have them, and more experiences.
Right now I'm considering dumping my U2410s for 120Hz monitors (should be able to almost get an even deal selling the dells) as I'm far more a gamer than I am in need of the IPS level of quality.
So I'm looking at the recent Samsungs (possibly 2 750s and a 700 when they are more available, to get 2xDP and 1xDVI for easier connection to a standard ATI card) and scoping out other models and stuff I can find. I'm also checking on an older LG I might be able to get for cheap to be my DVI and then flank it with a couple of the Sammies.
I'm vastly more interested in 2D 120Hz experience than I am in 3D, as I'll likely never use it, and just want the smoother experience that's closer to the ol' CRT times.
Also, I just feel like this is a huge lacking in this area of the boards and am hoping it might be possible to provoke the kind of thread like the one that's stickied for regular 60Hz TN/IPS/etc. monitors.
This seems like the future and looks like it has some real benefits for most people, so I'd just like to be better informed by informed users. Reviews and the like only provide so much info.
I'll take care of having the GPU power to feed 120Hz-Eyefinity if it requires more than what I've got, so please don't let that be a distraction for what I'd like to be an informative discussion about the monitors and their value. Thanks.
