What HSF are you running??? On my Abit mobo IC-7 (very similar) I would get 39-40c with 2.4c@3.5ghz and I was using a very nice (at the time) swiftech with 92mm panaflo.....Loads still got to 58-66c depending on time of the season and dust buildup on fans....Never throttled even once when I let it heat t o 70c which made me believe this thing was not reporting temp correctly...
Also check newer bioses as I think on my board at the end of myslef having it there was a bios update for correction of temps...I never tried it so I dont know.....
In the end I wouldn't worry....just try to keep load in the low 60's or under and you should be fine....stability is more aof a key then temps being reported with the Abit boards....

What board??? An Asus??? The other side of the temps...the unbelievably low side!!! MOst believe the truth is somwhere between the Abit and the Asus....

i've got an IS7, SLK-900U w/ 120mm
but i wish i could o/c more...
i'm at 1.62v, but on load it drops to 1.58v
is there a way to stop that from happening?

Geil Ultra Plat. PC3500 cas 2,3,3,6 stuff...board only allowed me a 3:2 ratio after 255fsb....still near PC3200 ram and cas 2,3,2,5 in its hayday....
