Thank you for today's stats package, @biodoc

Wow, the Moonshot Gang are really showing off their production muscles... Let's hope, they don't burn out or hurt themselves This race is like a marathon... If we can keep up our constant production until the end of the year and always keep close enough once they overtake us, we might find out that that is enough. The Moonshot Gang's production is pretty fluctuating... Once Stefan has to put on heat-resistant clothing to cross his "living" room, they may be running out of steam pretty soon And that might be our chance- with the force of cheering gerbils as our vital momentum we might be able to catch them before the finish line

Its only 80f with most windows open here, buts its warned up to 45F outside. I will have to open the sliding glass door today, as its over 85F in the living room. But I am all in.

Thanks for the stats biodoc

Wish I could buy a new GPU (for sensible money), I would have far higher ppd with probably similar power draw!
When is this damn chip shortage going to be over??

[edit] Doh! I'm an idiot! I'm not folding with my Ryzen! That's gotta be worth something hasn't it?? [edit2] Although looking at last years race maybe not (when I mentioned where I should CPU fold). LMK ASAP please!

I tried to telegraph my intentions for after PG was over the best I could - http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid=thread...ce-the-race-has-started.2599137/post-40656145

I really would like to shut off about 9 million PPD though as soon as it's feasible to. I had to cross the 'no GPU's running in my bedroom' line since that was the last circuit I had room on, and they're pretty loud while trying to sleep in there.
I got the telegraph sort of.... But did not realize you were bringing more than Pokey to the table ! last 24 hours, 54 MILLION !

Grinch is out... I was trying to create a surprise before the end of the month.. 3080TI was suppose to arrive today; delayed until the 7th of Jan. Ya.. even then I'm not getting my hopes up.

With Icecolds 54 million ppd, we would need 6 of those.

Thanks for the stats? (sucks)

This 3D! Paint project was started a few days ago. Does not "play" as well now, but I spent HOURS on it

p.s. I was going to ass-nine team member names to the characters in the attached graphic then realized that there are only 8 on the team, so no need to push my luck further with upsetting the "Forum" creator by messing that up also? Anand where have you gone?

P.P.S.! I tried to add more compute to the challenge, but it is like a gnat-phart (f is silent) on top of a gnat.... Just like this t.m....ed image. So please don't report.... Can "art" really be trademarked anyway t.m.

I love the new team mates!

I like being able to TOTALLY take down the TTurbo for daily production soon and for only once! For only this challenge...

I don't know how anyone could want to be on a moonbootish team. (Though I wear kiwis boots every chance I get!!!!). Mention me and get absolutely nothing, well maybe a "what?". Though kiwis slippers really rock! I'm on 5 years with mine, only worn during winter...

I'm glad I have a fair amount of 230V/16A circuits here.

So far I had 1 computer in the kitchen and the rest in the living room (for lack of a more befitting designation). It got somewhat colder outside now, and so I put one of the computers on wheels and on 10m (33') long power + Ethernet leashes, and set it down in the bedroom for the day. It will be put into the hallway by night.

More power...
The client's power slider only has got 'light', 'medium', and 'full' ticks. You'll have to hack the client binary to add a 'more' power option. ;-)

No doubt... 6 of them compared to the power bill... whew.. that would be a spread. LOL!
Don't think 'Ms Claus' would approve on this end.
I was able to find two 980's. *shrug... 1M ppd or so if I remember correctly...

Thanks for the stats BioDoc!

Earlier today I spotted one 18027 workunit on my rigs, now two of those. They give more than double of the usual PPD on my GTX 1080TIs. =:-O

(But they don't take much time to complete, meaning they can't be making up a sizable portion of the total work which is done over the course of, say, a day.)

Close race!!

I guess my Ryzen isn't worth folding on? Seeing as no one answered

It is, I think, as long as it's not driving a GPU that's also Folding. I am using half the logical cores on a 3700X to fold while it is also feeding a folding GPU, and even using just half slightly impacts the ppd of the GPU. Going with the stock Fahcontrol configuration of all cores minus one is a disaster for modern GPUs, imo.

@Assimilator1, even on a 64-threaded server CPU, there are sometimes WUs which take almost a day to complete. You'll need to be a patient person if you turn to CPU folding on a desktop CPU.

Thank you, @biodoc, for another stats package today

Wow, the Moonshot Gang is crunching away our lead... But at least they can't increase their production by the same rate as before... Or so it seems... Hopefully (for us) they're close to the ceiling of what's possible on their end... We need to try to hang on and keep in striking distance... Thanks to @Kiska for joining ranks with us Now, we have to be patient and wait for our beloved cheering gerbils to propel us to unknown heights And perhaps they'll tip the scale and deliver the final blow
