To change you login and how your computer logs in you can do this.

right click my computer and select properties
select the Network Identification tab
Click Netwrok ID and follow the instructions (works for home user)

Try that and it should work. I don't know about your second question though

Hope it helps a little.

For your second question;

Right click on My Computer. Chooose Properties. Choose Advanced Tab. Choose Startup and Recovery. Here you can configure how long it will take to choose the OS to boot to. I thought there was a boot.ini edit option in there, but don't see it now. Anyway if you eliminate the wait time you shouldn't see the option to dual boot. I have my wait time set at 5 seconds, and it feels more like 3 seconds. I like to have WinME on the other partition as a backup or emergency OS.

If you want to remove the linux partition all the way. All you have to do is repartition it back to windows which partition magic can do this without harming any other data on the hdd. Then use a startup disk to bootup the system and then type the following below in dos. That command will remove the boot menu which you pick what OS you want to run.

fdisk /mbr
