I've got a Hyundai LCD. While the colors and image quaity are quite good, I don't like the narrow viewing angle of the screen > 150°(H) / 135°(V).

The angles listed for the above LCD's are...
* Samsung = 160°(H) / 160°(V)
* Viewsonic = 176°(H) / 176°(V)
* Dell = 178°(H) / 178°(V)

The Viewsonic and Dell seem to have much better viewing angles than the Samsung...

The vx2025wm isn't an 8bit S-IPS panel, or P-MVA panel as it may be. It's a TN panel. Usually the viewing angles are not as high for TN panels, so that's pretty impressive.

I was gonna say that the 20" veiwsonic wasn't S-IPS or MVA. GO for the Dell.

I thought the Viewsonic was a S-IPS but I found out it wasn't looking at that site. I would suggest getting the Dell or the NEC even the Gateway is pretty good.

A lot of people have been happy with the ViewSonic, except for some issues with backlight bleeding. The Dell used to have problems with color gradients (a problem with the firmware, not the panel) but this ahs also been fixed. The bottom line is you will most likely get the same performance out of the ViewSonic or Dell (assuming that most Dells are MVA panels these days).

is this true? Dell uses S-IPS and MVA panels? is this just on the 2007WFP? I have a 2005FPW just wondering I am pretty sure it's a S-IPS as it has the characteristics of one.
