I'm glad Colorado got the kinks out and played a ball game. The Rockies and the Red Sox both had great opportunity's to score runs but pitching prevailed and we'll see how the no DH rule plays out in Coors Field.

Really glad to see the Rockies playing better and making a game out of it this time.

Are there any of the Sox fans who would like to see the series make it back to Fenway so the sox can win at home?

Absolutely. I really don't care what happens in Colorado as long as the Sox win one game. In 2004, the Sox won the WS on the road. It would be unreal to do the same in Fenway Park.

Anubis, stop. Clearly the NL could hit Curt Schilling, clearly this isn't a fluke. We just played a better game last night and got the big hit that got us the one run lead. Never in that game could the score not be tied by a solo home run, so please, just because Beckett is a freak, that doesn't mean the Rockies aren't good.

That having been said, I totally agree with the bolded part.

i never said the rockies were not a good team, and ill freely admit that Red Sox fans are annoying, however Bandwagon fans are worse, does not matter what wagon they are on they all suck, as much as i like seeing the sox win i dont like blowouts, i felt bad for the rockies in game 1, id like the games to be competitive, last nightst game was great
but this OMG 22 out of 23 BS was old a week ago

Trust me, all of the true Rockies fans wish that the bandwagon fans would just stuff it too.

I don't agree with the AL>NL crap. There are great teams and awesome players on both sides. The AL spent $357,348,303 more than the NL this year. This is of course going to secure some of the better players, and most of the extra spending is by just a few teams.

But hey, we played well last night...both teams did really. We just couldn't get enough offense going to win it. It was a good game.

7-2 in the post season is still impressive, you must admit.

I also agree that blowouts suck. They're boring and I don't like watching them. The Rox lost last night, but we played well, and that's what matters, and if they keep playing like that all through Game 7 and don't win, I'll still be proud of them.

Hell yes they did.

There are plenty of loyal Rockies fans in Colorado.

This is true.

I am interested to see how each stadium's seating is on Monday night.

LOL. Sure, there were loyal fans, but they mostly hid and kept quiet.....all 15-or-so of them. Now they can't hear themselves think over the screams of the bandwagoners.

Hockey isn't really new to Denver.

Yeah...actually the Rockies was the name of the old Hockey team if I remember right.

Boston averaged 36,675 a game this season, Colorado 28,978. Considering market size I would say they are comparable, maybe even a little in the Rockies favor.

Are you kidding? Fenway's capacity is around 38,800.

Coors Field is 50,445.

Every Red Sox game is sold out. Every single one. You can't buy box office tickets.

There is no comparison, adjusted for size or not, between the Colorado Rockies and the Boston Red Sox.
