Lebron's team is really letting him down. People blame Lebron for not getting his teammates more involved but I just think his teammates need to step it up, take some of the weight off Lebron's shoulders.

Lebron hasn't been perfect though either, he's going for fouls too much and not focusing enough on just shooting the ball.

Re: Mo Williams & his "guarantee"...

I haven't figured out yet if these things are born out of arrogance or ignorance. Either way most of the time they leave you looking like an idiot. A guarantee means that the people you offer it to get something in return if you don't promise what you offer.

If you really want to guarantee something, back it up by paying for the playoff season tickets for the fans or giving up a signing bonus if you don't come through.

I had noticed this as well, late in the 4th quarter with the jump ball, and his "trip" with 0.5 left. Yes it got him to the foul line, but they were both sloppy plays, and he may have had a much better look at the hoop if he had pulled up for a short jump shot.

I heard it really wasn't a guarantee and more of just having confidence. That's just what I heard though, where's the interview?

The Magic won't get much respect unless they win the NBA championship, and even if that happens there will still be many claiming that it was the other team not playing up to their potential.

imo, it's not Williams or West shooting poorly that's killing the Cavs. It's the Magic playing tough defense and preventing them from getting good open looks. Few seem to want to give the Magic credit though.

Agreed. He's not perfect but his teammates aren't letting him or the team get in a rhythem. Its hard to run the team and know when to go solo or make a pass when there is no one to count on. I also fault Brown. He has to find ways that help his players be more successful, thru matchups or offensive and defensive schemes, but he's been nothing less than confused imo.

If someone is going to guarantee a win, it has to come from the team leader like James (or perhaps a coach) to be the motivator that its supposed to be.

Getting one from Mo Williams, who's had a sh!tty series, is laughable.

I was going to wait until the finals started, but I guess I'll say it now:

I might be taking my NBA tinfoil hat / conspiracy theory wig off. These playoffs have been great and *gasp* unexpected. While the refs have not been the best (especially when it comes to technicals), I really dont see much of a slant towards certain teams / players. While there has been a little bit of star treatment for LBJ and Kobe, it has not been nearly as obvious or blatant as previous years (See: Dwayne Wade + 2006 Finals). These playoffs have been enjoyable, and despite some games, called fairly decent. Im not saying the refs have been great, but there just hasn't been as many one sided calls as in previous years.

I would of laughed if someone told me 2 months ago that its very possible we could see an Orlando Magic - Denver Nuggets NBA finals.

Kinda like this?

Oklahoma's Courtney Paris has not only guaranteed that the Sooners will win the NCAA women's basketball title, she's willing to put up her scholarship to back it up.

In a speech on senior night last week, Paris said that if the third-ranked Sooners don't win the title, she'll give back her scholarship money, valued at close to $64,000, according to a story in The Oklahoman.

"I have a passion for our fans and university, and I want to do something special," Paris said, according to The Oklahoman. "That's why I put my scholarship on the table. I meant what I said."

The Sooners are ranked third in the polls and are the top seed in the Big 12 tournament. Still, they face by most accounts a daunting challenge if their path to the national title is obstructed by No. 1 Connecticut. UConn is 31-0 overall and routed Oklahoma by 28 points back in November.

"I feel like we're not missing pieces," Paris said. "If we play hard, we execute, we are a great team that can win a national championship," Paris said. "If we don't do that, it won't be because we're not good enough.

"So when you're good enough and don't do something, then you have to take accountability for that and that's your own fault. We can win a national championship. If we don't, I'll feel like I didn't earn my scholarship."

Cavs starting lineup for tomorrow night:

Z, Varejao, LBJ, Delonte West, Boobie Gibson.

IMO.

Have Mo Williams come of the bench. He's John Starks-ing LeBron.

I respect her for that, but even college's best woman player can't put the entire team's success on her own shoulders. Its admirable to want to, but there is too much out of her control to take complete responsibility for, including but not limited to all of the coaching and personnel decisions. While she's been at Oklahoma, she earned her scholarship more than anyone else in woman's basketball.

LET'S GO NUGGETS LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!

I should have gotten some Mello Yellow soda to support my boy.

On a more serious note, if Kobe is sitting down, or even if he's not, they need to be running the offense more out of Gasol or Odom when Gasol is out. Gasol is having a good series but they still aren't running the offense off him enough. Don't let Brown or Farmar run the offense for you when Kobe is sitting. Give it to your next best player.

pretty much ever team lets it go. 9/10 you don't get the block and end up getting a foul called.

look at the two in bound plays Ariza made in games 1 and 3. No one ran back in either cases and it was crunch time too.

lakers need to get rid of odom in exchange for a more solid 3rd option. i'm tired of watching him here in LA since he's been with the clips and his laid back effort
