2012 Steam Summer Sale: DEAD!

Yea I figured best case scenario would only net me 6$ dollars and its too much of a risk to pass up such a great game so I pulled the trigger. I LOVED TW1 and can't wait to play 2.
Only wish Skyrim was 20 dollars and not 30 :biggrin:

I hear ya there. I enjoyed the first Witcher and have been waiting for a good deal on the second, which is supposed to be much better. My delayed gratification slipped once and Skyrim was the last game I paid full retail for at release in the past decade or so. Won't be happening again anytime soon.

Well, I'm up to $45 spent so far... Legend of Grimrock, Space Marine, Borderlands, Street Fighter IV, Bioshock 2, Toy Soldiers.

Really want Skyrim and The Witcher 2 but got a max budget of $100...:'(

I'll see what other cheapies come out over the next few days, and put money
aside for the inevitable winter sale. I don't feel too bad about not getting them yet, gives me time to play all these other ones first!

I bought the franchise bundle for $10, which includes the two games and DLC. I dont see how the community choice will be cheaper.

No. You have to use SteamMover or SteamTools to do it.

search the steam help. There are instructions on how to move things over to another drive, buy will require a lot of reinstalling, iirc.

If you want to move the whole thing you just have to move your Steam folder to the new drive, then run Steam.exe and let it update and activate your games.

I'm not sure how it works in regard to a move while you're in the same OS install. I'd imagine that it would be rather painless. When I rebuilt my system with some new drives, I just copied the files over and had to tell Steam to "install" the software. The content was already there, so Steam didn't actually have to do anything.

It's funny really but I feel that CD Projekt (Witcher devs) are one of the very few devs that deserve full price for their games even though I personally can't throw that much money on games right now they really are a true PC dev. The PC is their main platform, no crappy console ports and they actually patch their games and add content for free (Enhanced Edition).
I really wish more devs cared this much about their product and I hope they don't get bought out by some soulless publisher.
