Wow - glad Limbo was on sale - very short game, but a lot of fun [and took me a bit to figure out the meaning behind the end].

Beyond Good and Evil for $2.49? Great deal for an awesome game.

Dead Island is within a price a cheap bastard like me can appreciate.

It should be noted that the entire Red Faction series is on sale right now, not just Armageddon.

Skip Armageddon. Get Guerilla instead for $5. It's slightly older, but it's considered by and far the best of the Red Faction series, and has fantastic, open, destructable environments with some awesome weapons.

Armageddon was an uninspired corridor shooter sponsored by SyFy and made for a quick buck. It shows.

I think I'm going to pass on GalCiv II since I already bought Sins of a Solar Empire.

I wish they would put Spore on sale but it doesn't seem likely.

Oh, and I played through Beyond Good and Evil on Xbox 1, it is good.

I'd sure recommend GalCiv over Spore, but whatever you prefer. I'd check reviews.

Hasn't ARMA 2 been on sale at least 3 times during the summer sale already?

Realism = pour fire on it and burn myself. Gameplay is an abstract that has nothing to do with real life (ie realism), and realistic games suck (see populations of all the standards (Red Orchestra, et al).

So with my total disdain for 'realism' shooters, has my mind just created ARMA 2 sales, or did they really happen?

That's probably as cheap as it will go. They don't have a great deal of incentive to go cheaper when DayZ is drumming up so many sales.

from what I've heard the dlc is pretty good for the game and the goty edition is worth it.

Get it with the DLC, the DLC is better than FO3's

I'm curious to what you other guys are playing. I've bought about 20 games so far, with no idea of when I'll get to some of them.... but, I've been playing :

Spectromancer - strategy, MTG style play
Railroad Tycoon 2 - strat, sim, replaced physical version
Legends of Grimlock - action/rpg/old school

With some good titles sitting unplayed, like Asassins Creed; so what are you actually playing out of everything you bought?

I'm REALLY liking Nexuiz. It's fast-paced multiplayer twitch-shooter a la Quake, but made with CryEngine 3, so it has really really pretty graphics too.

I played Nexuiz during the beta, and felt kinda "meh" about it, but now that it's more polished I'm having an absolute blast... really brings back the taste of oldschool shooters, which I haven't played for a while.

Unfortunately it still has a lot of stability problems. The game always crashes sooner or later. Sometimes I just get stuck on the server loading screen, and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del out of the game. Big bummer.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet looks pretty awesome (at least the art/style does). It's another MetroidMania variation, but I'm tempted if it goes on bigger sale. Anyone play it?
