Bought New Vegas, considering Hitman, but I kind of want to wait until it gets cheaper...I don't feel I'll get to it anytime soon.

I bought Heroes of M+M VI when it was the daily deal yesterday. Can anyone comment on how the game is after it has been patched several times? It's been out for a while, but I haven't ever looked into it until recently - I know some fans of the older HOMM titles didn't necessarily like it at launch (due to differences) but i'm a newcomer. Hopefully i'll enjoy it, I just need more time to game. Seems like I have less and less time to game with each passing week due to work and other obligations. Sigh.

Also, are any of the expacs worth getting?

So what makes sense on Heroes 6? It looks like Amazon has Heroes 6 complete for $17 (or $14.50 with a code 'gooncave'), but no steam key. Steam is $25.

They both use Uplay, just different forms of it. Amazon's you need to register and use the full Uplay client. For Steam when you launch the game it launches a Steam version of the Uplay client that Ubisoft has for their Steam games (basically it is the Uplay Client minus the store front).

TLOU is The Last of Us, PS3 game.

edit: ok, not that good. could be good with some tweaks though. UI and controls are bad.

Definitely FO3. NV is good too, but it isn't as engaging as FO3. Though, to be fair, I've completed FO3 but still haven't completed NV. Working on it though.

Can't decide if I want to get BL2. Love the game - played it on PS3, and have the seasons pass there and have played the Mechromancer through story plus three DLC's. I've recently made the switch to PC gaming and am feeling that "need" to rebuy all the good PS3 games I liked so I can play them with PC resolutions & graphics, etc. BL2 + Seasons Pass + two characters = $27.

But I also want to play Skyrim Legendary. Again, I've played Skyrim on PS3, but none of the DLC. It's $45.

Bah! What to do?!

Given I own HoMM 6 on dvd, I could get HoMM 6 'complete', apparently on Amazon for $14.50 or $17, or Steam for $25.

The final expansion isn't getting great reviews, but doesn't make much sense to buy just the game and two smaller DLC's, even if it's just $10.

I've recently made the switch to PC gaming and am feeling that "need" to rebuy all the good PS3 games I liked so I can play them with PC resolutions & graphics, etc. BL2 + Seasons Pass + two characters = $27.

There is a PC save editor that can open PS3 and 360 save files and essentially "convert" them to PC saves for you.

Agree that FO3 is the better one to play first. It's a slightly better introduction to the world, particularly because you're playing a character that's only just crawled out of a vault for the first time.

I actually prefer New Vegas overall, but I think I appreciated ( understood ) it a lot more having played FO3 first. The world and characters felt a little more fleshed out, more nice little touches, and you get to see more of stuff you only touch on briefly in FO3.

If you liked the first one you'll like this one. I really like it. A few different characters you can choose from now with different weapons/abilities and a level up type of system for perks. My only complaint is they limit the amount of towers you can put down, it makes for a better challenge and having to really think about your tower layout and the strategy you'll use but on the other hand I loved just filling areas up with towers lol
