I strongly, strongly, strongly recommend Max Payne 3. It's without a doubt the most detailed, well-designed, expertly-engineered, adrenaline-fueled action game I've ever played. I payed $60 for it on release and I don't regret it one bit. $10 is highway robbery. It's a masterpiece of gaming.

I was thinking the same thing. I know I paid $5 for it 2 years ago. I thought that was the standard price.

+1, loved it. I was bummed when it ended; I was so ready to keep going.

not impressed with anything today... THAT IS GOOD, mostly because i already own what i would probably be interested in...

although i could dig the dishonored dlcs...

If you liked Dishonored, you won't regret buying The Knife of Dunwall. It not only fleshes out the main storyline from a different perspective, the powers available to you are a bit different than the base game. DLC done right, IMO.

It is pretty clear though on the games page, it only has multi player listed.

Great game though. I put around 80 hours into and feel like going back to it. The devs are great, lots of free content patches and are always working on balancing and stuff. Community is pretty good too with people willing to help new people out. Game takes a little bit to get the hang of because there is a lot going on.

I don't see DE:HR GOTY shown, there is an 'augmented edition' but that includes bonus content like soundtrack, etc. but not the DLCs. There is a 'collection' though that includes the DLC and also the GOTY version of the first game.

Which one did you get for $5?

It was a personal request, so the answer is because I don't have it yet

I also don't think that I've seen it for 85% off before, but I'm not surprised if I'm wrong on this and I just missed it.

Edit: looking at the current price, at 85% off it's going to be ~$5 for DE:HR + DLCs, or $6 for the 'Collection'.

Looks like it was the standard edition for $4.99. And it was worth every penny and then some. So for $3 would be a steal, obviously. If buying today I'd get the "collection" for $6.

Mirror's Edge is $6 right now too. I loved that game (although I remember playing it on Origin, not Steam) and it's definitely worth $6 imo.

It's worth that much. I paid full price for it on the 360 awhile back, and I don't recall ever feeling cheated. I do have my issues with the game overall, but they weren't enough to ruin the fun.

Yeah this. Game was crap. Nothing but cut scenes broken up by the odd shoot out. Fail game.

Is Sins of the Solar Empire: Rebellion worth the $10 ?

Skipped on TR cause when I opened up the page there was about 3 dozen dlcs, didn't feel like trying to figure what was worthwhile last night.

I asked about the DLC in this thread and Kaotic responded recommending to get just one (check his post).

Im used to play with 2 friends games like Dead island or borderlands in coop, should we find that game fun if we kinda hook up together as a group of survivors together? or its not even worth it like that?

I don't know the game, but the developers infuriated customers by promising featurss, then cancelling them, then offering what seemed like a sleazy attitude about it.
