Quoting you claiming $3.69 is more towards $3 than $4. Wow what a nut
Really? Can you please quote where I said $3.69 is more "towards" $3 than $4? Go ahead, please link me to the exact post where I said that. I'll be waiting. You can't quote it because I never said it. The "quote" you provided above said no such thing and it is obvious you didn't understand a word I said. Maybe some reading remediation is in order for you?
I should've known not to use large words like calculus in a post to you. Here was my EXACT quote in full:
IndyColtsFan said:There's that inexact (and incorrect) terminology again. $3.69 is not "towards" $4. At. All. Towards implies motion, which a single numerical value does not capture. If you're familiar with calculus (which you're obviously not), you would know this. Others also explained this to you earlier but you couldn't grasp it and in the meantime, we all pointed and laughed.
Debating with you is like shooting fish in a barrel, except I think the fish are more intelligent.
Of course you did and several posters called you on it. Here was your game:McOWNED said:I didn't shift any goal posts. The posts are engrained here on the Internet forever for all to see.
DAVE ON DAY 1: I can't find gas under $3.50 anywhere along the NW/N side!
ICF ON DAY 1: I see several here (link to gas buddy)
DAVE ON DAY 1: Those places aren't "regular" gas stations but places with member discounts.
ICF ON DAY 1: I filled up at BP today for under $3.50. That's "regular," as are several of the stations I linked.
...
...
DAVE ON DAY 2 (after a gas increase): HA! I'll bet you $50 you can't find me gas under $3.50/gallon!
ICF AND OTHERS: No shit, it went up 5-10 cents last night. You're moving the goal posts.
What asinine bet is it you want to have exactly? Will this be like the one above, where you keep delaying and shifting goal posts?McOWNED said:Hell next time you try and pull that shit I will stand on the corner of 86th and Michigan at the Shell station with $100 cold hard cash to entice you to come up to the "ghetto" up here on the North side not far from where multi-Billionaires live just on the other side of 465.
I used to work in that general area you tool. Know that huge HP configuration center off of Georgetown? I helped wire it back in the late 90s.
I know the College Park area very well. I was referring to the 56th-62nd Georgetown area. Also, BTW, there are very few multi-billionaires in the Indy area -- if memory serves, only 2 or 3.
And if they do, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to not buy or are you going to complain? Here's a clue -- buy when you know it will be cheap (ie, generally not on a holiday weekend or on Friday).McOWNED said:Edit: Oil jumped $2 today, you may get your chance at $100 sooner than later.
Let's see how quickly your buds jack the price over $3.50 here.
