tbh these gas prices really dont have any noticeable effect on life

YET THIS POST

Maybe it doesn't effect you personally but it effects you whether you admit it or not. How do you think all of the stuff you buy gets to market? How about the millions of people on minimum wage trying to struggle just to buy food having to buy expensive gas too?

Every 1 cent increase in gas decreases disposable income by $600,000,000 per year.

http://investmentwatchblog.com/ever...t-entirely-wiped-out-the-most-recent-stimulu/

every $1 per barrel rise in oil decreases U.S. GDP by $100 billion per year and every 1 cent increase in gasoline decreases U.S. consumer disposable income by about $600 million per year.

You're another Oil Thug, aren't you?

I don't know, what does she do?

You would think by the way defends the Oil Thug Industry must somehow personally benefit from the price gouging.

Do you have any proof?

Where's the gas drop overnight by 30 or 40 cents like they raise it instantly?

Oil hits two-year low

Brent crude fell below $97 per barrel on Monday, its lowest level in more than two years

Oil giant Chevron Corp (CVX.N) rose 1.29 percent at $124.24 and contributed the most points to the Dow's rise.

Did it drop 30 or 40 cents overnight???

No, but it didn't go up 30 or 40 cents over the weekend either and it is nowhere near any of your ludicrous "predictions" from the past. What was it -- $10/gal of gas and $5/gal of milk? Or was it the reverse? You've made so many ridiculous "predictions" that I can't keep your lunacy straight.

The midwest is fucked on gas prices, period. Spike up $0.30 to $0.40 in one day and then trickle down over the next two to three weeks just to do it all over again (as your graph shows). Lexington follows this pattern precisely.

Let's throw in crude oil prices and look at Indy for one year.

Looks like the bottom has fallen out of crude yet Indy is on a slight tick upward. Not $5.00 but not following crude for the last few months.

Indy still does not believe you or I about the 30 and 40 cents price hikes overnight.

He must never get outside and has someone else fill his gas tank for him.

With all those overnight hikes you complain about, fuel must be well over $6/gal.

Over the past year, we can look at all your $0.30 posts and figure out what you claim the price of fuel in Indy area should be.

Can you point out where regular in the Indy area (not including the discount stores) are showing the cost of regular for over $6 or even pushing $5.

Since it is not; somehow those hikes are offset by drops. but a troll such as you refuses to acknowledge that dips will happen.
You also refuse to acknowledge that the reason for such fluctuations in that area of the country.

No one believes you because you're dishonest, almost always omit key facts, and have reading comprehension issues. I'm not sure I was the one that coined the term "McOWNED," but it sure is a fitting term.

I filled up for around $3.30 on Saturday on may way to go hiking. You keep moaning about these sudden increases but yet, ignore all the drops. If these price hikes were so large and so consistent, why aren't we at $5 or $6 per gallon by now? What's your excuse?

Gas going up over a holiday or towards the weekend is no big secret, just like I mentioned that the hotel rooms around Munich triple around Oktoberfest, rooms around Speedway go up around the Indy 500, and room prices go up wherever the Super Bowl is held.

And BTW, it is really cute of you to pretend to be so interested in Indy gas prices. You were pissing and moaning about gas prices long before you polluted my city with your presence.

Show me a drop of 30 or 40 cents overnight.

I don't need to show you a 30 or 40 cent drop overnight. Where did I claim that gas never spiked 30 or 40 cents? There's that lack of reading comprehension I pointed out.

What I *AM* claiming is that your ridiculous predictions over the years with respect to gas prices have generally been absurd and flat-out wrong. A couple of weeks ago, you were screaming about $4/gal gas and when I pointed out that I had paid $3.48 (and it subsequently went to $3.54 or something) you claimed it was "toward" $4.

Did it ever hit $4? No? I thought not, but since $3.54 was more than halfway between $3 and $4, the usual Dave McOwned gas alarmist posts started about gas hitting $4 in the near future. So I guess, using your logic, we can say that there is no cause for alarm since gas is in the $3.1x to $3.2x range and therefore, is "towards" $3/gal.

Yes, gas around $3.30 range is towards $3.

Gas was $3.65 to $3.69 here. Why do you deny that is towards $4?

You show a small glimmer of math comprehension when less than 50 cents but when over 50 you have zero ability to understand, very odd.

I put hard cold $50 cash for all to see on here and you ducked and hid because you were MCOWNED yet again.

But you keep coming back for more.

There's that inexact (and incorrect) terminology again. $3.69 is not "towards" $4. At. All. Towards implies motion, which a single numerical value does not capture. If you're familiar with calculus (which you're obviously not), you would know this. Others also explained this to you earlier but you couldn't grasp it and in the meantime, we all pointed and laughed.

You show a small glimmer of math comprehension when less than 50 cents but when over 50 you have zero ability to understand, very odd.

Unfortunately, a small glimmer of math comprehension would be a huge improvement for you. Let's be clear -- I have forgotten more about math than you'll ever know.

I put hard cold $50 cash for all to see on here and you ducked and hid because you were MCOWNED yet again.

I didn't need to drive all the way up to the ghetto where you live. It was conclusively proven that 1) You were shifting goalposts and 2) Another poster posted gas prices which were on the north side of Indianapolis and proved you wrong. It's as if you can't even help but McOWNing yourself.

You want the $50 bet.

Find a location in Indianapolis for regular fuel at $4+ within 5 miles of the I-465 loop.

Get it verified by a picture and you get $50. Maybe I will pay it in a fuel card :hmm:

This offer expires noon on the 17th of Sept 2014 Eastern Daylight Time.
You have almost 24 hours to put up where the summation of your $0.30 increases are.

Or are you ready to admit that your are an OIL TROLL

Quoting you claiming $3.69 is more towards $3 than $4. Wow what a nut

I didn't shift any goal posts. The posts are engrained here on the Internet forever for all to see.

Hell next time you try and pull that shit I will stand on the corner of 86th and Michigan at the Shell station with $100 cold hard cash to entice you to come up to the "ghetto" up here on the North side not far from where multi-Billionaires live just on the other side of 465.

Edit: Oil jumped $2 today, you may get your chance at $100 sooner than later.

Let's see how quickly your buds jack the price over $3.50 here.
