early sports books have gsw at -7 for Game 7.

lets see if gsw can continue on their journey to fulfill their destiny and get the trophy.
or will they choke like so many record breaking regular season teams did b4 them and not even goto the finals.

ie: Seattle Mariners and not even making it to the World Series

and even if they make it to the last round, will they walk away victorious or fall, again, like so many record breaking teams b4 them.
ie: New England Patriots and losing the Superbowl
I don't expect them to choke, but you never know. Like Iguodala said last night, they expect game 7 to be fun, same as game 6.

No they are not easily the greatest of all time. They have a long way to go to say they are better than the Bulls

I think if they go on to the finals and beat the Cavs, they are certainly better than the 95-96 Bulls.

That wouldn't mean they are better than the 90s Bulls. Takes more seasons for that.

I wouldn't. The Bulls only went to seven games once in 6 championship years and their 95-96 campaign was dominating. The Warriors have not looked dominating this offseason.

While the Warriors are the best team today and will go down as one of the best of all time, the style of play from the 90s and 2016 simply doesn't mesh. In either era's rules I still wouldn't bet against Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, and Jackson.

It definitely does take more seasons for that. In the 90's there were so many GOAT players that didn't win a championship because of the Bulls. There's many great players now but it's not as stacked as it was back then.

The 90's Bulls teams were head and shoulders above their competition at the highest level and when it counted most, in the playoffs, which is why they only went to one Game 7. GS may have set a record during the regular season this year, but they are far from outclassing their playoff peers like the Bulls did.

Warriors fans also concede they aren't that great by claiming there is more parity in the league. While it may be an obfuscated attempt to promote the strength of other teams so the warriors' iniquities can be dismissed, they are simply admitting their team much closer to a middle-of-the-pack team than the 90's Bulls were.

Bulls still have the best record of all time: 87-13 (0.870).

Warriors at best will end up 89-14 (0.864) if they go undefeated at this point.

Also almost every advanced statistic puts the Bulls as a significantly better team than the 2015-2016 Warriors. The reason the Warriors ended up with a better regular season record was health. Bulls lost a couple of their starters for extended time in the 1995-96 season.

if steph is out, then no more reason to watch any more.

edit:
he's still in.
gsw back to the 3pt clinic which is good since they (STILL) cant seem to covert 2pointers.

past 5 baskets have been 3 pointers

edit2:
now okc shooting wild and just watching gsw run to the basket.
okc has fallen apart in 2nd half.
gsw LEADS by 11

I think OKC just had it's morale broke. Not sure they bounce back after this rally. Bad body language and just look totally unraveled.

OKC just keep killing themselves with their bad shot selection. OKC lost the series themselves, not because of Golden State. They didn't play the game that got them up 3-1.

Only one thing more surprising the OKC managing a 3 game win streak in the series, and that's them turning around and chocking on themselves to hand away another 3 game streak.

Later Westbrick. Great talent but takes so many bad shots.

Thankfully we get the rematch we've been hoping to see. Going to be an epic finals.

NBA doesn't want anyone but GS in the finals. Dirty ass Draymond playing like that whole series and not even a suspension.

Though, OKC really beat themselves.

I'm curious to see how badly LeBron/Kevin/Kyrie want this. Epic is right and first two games are @ GSW.

James probably wants it worse than he did last year. And last year he single handedly lead to team to 2 and almost a 3rd win. As good of a shooter as Curry is, when he's motivated James is the best all around player ever. What he did in last years finals was a man possessed. It was one of those rare performances where a loser really did deserve the finals MVP.

I can get behind this. ...Kerr was on that team, too, wasn't he? It was Paxton then Kerr, right?

Kerr has proven to be a pretty fantastic Jackson-light so far, but the current Warriors really wouldn't have an answer for Jordan-Pippen-Rodman.

I don't think Steph gets to shoot with impunity with Jordan all over him.

why does he have to wait until he's motivated (to be the best ever)?

Jordan was always motivated to play at 100%, which I guess is why is the undisputed best ever.

Absolutely agree. When they were moving the ball around and actually passing to open shooters they created spacing. Adams was an absolute beast and grinder in the lane. Same for Kanter. Those two guys were key players that were just ignored when they got flustered and resorted back to hero-ball.

Westbrook and Durant just took way too many forced up threes and horrible shots that didn't needed to be taken. So many shots jacked up early in the possession instead of waiting to setup and get some sort of offense setup.

Bad shots led to great transitions for Golden State and got Thompson back into the game. OKC had the formula down. They just kept going back to shitty playing anytime they were challenged by GS.

It looks like GSW is going to take the finals. If you compare player by player, OKC has a far better team than cleveland.

Westbrook >>>> Irving
Durant > James
Love < Adams/Ibaka

Three-peat next year?

That's the thing...OKC was only great when it played as a team. When it went "player by player" it lost.

I think Cleveland plays a much more cohesive game and can spread the floor much better than than the Thunder did.
