With Lebron carrying the whole team without support from his teammates, I think GSW can easily steal this one from them.
Easily? 1 bad and 1 iffy call against the Cavs in the last 90 seconds of the game a missed FT by an 82%er that would have put them up AND Smith with maybe the most bone headed move in finals history. And GS still only managed to make it an OT game. What happened happened, but take away any one of those 4 things and it's 1-0 Cavs.
I understand on paper GS is a much better team, but they won by luck against a team where only 2 people played worth mentioning. And the Cav's 3rd highest scorer was the one who blew the game.
They should have suspended thompson if that was green he would have been suspended. Green suspended on 2016(?) caused the warriors the championship
Using that logic, Green should have been suspended in the conference finals that year, him not being suspended against OKC (2 really really bad calls) is pretty much the only reason GS won. Imagine if he had been suspended. We might have seen the Cavs Vs. OKC in the finals, and Durant probably wouldn't have bailed to join the Warriors. And who knows who would be in the finals from the west this year? If you think about it Green's 2 intentional nutt shots that went unpunished changed the Western conference forever.
