Yep, as the thread title states, "Republicans put back in charge!" It's not Obama, it the Repubs who are in charge now.

So let's see what they do about Immigration Reform. You know, the Bill that got passed in the bipartisan Dem cotrolled Senate but got nowhere in the House? lol Yep, the Repubs were in complete control of the House yet they couldn't do diddly with such landmark legislation. So how is that going to be any different now that they own both houses of Congress? Boehner won't/can't do a single thing about it, yet he's threatening Obama with a war that he's already been waging against Obama anyway, if Obama does pull the trigger as he said he would pre-elections. Funny as shit that is.

And I swear I heard Boehner not a couple of days ago say that they're going to repeal Obamacare or chop it into so many little pieces as to repeal it de facto. Yep, Boehner is willing to take away health care from millions who previously couldn't get it (and the votes that go with it) to get some shine on his shoes. Maybe its a good thing as it will finally make a lot of folks realize that to repeal Obamacare is to repeal the ACA.

He's absolutely correct - this election was completely about Obama. Republicans nationalized the election, Democrat candidates could not run away from Obama fast enough, and the Democrats' usual supporters just didn't care enough to bother voting. Or at least, they didn't care enough to vote for Democrats.

You realize that a Republican Senate will have functionally zero effect on his policies, right? The only thing they can affect is appointments. Otherwise, things will continue on as they did before.

It is highly unlikely that the average voter was thinking about appointments.
