I think it’s pretty well established that the GOP is anti American. Their policies are pretty much designed to ensure America is a shit hole country.

Can anyone name a single republican policy from the last 12 years that improved America or a majority of Americans lives? I honestly can’t think of a single one.

Tax cuts and military spending is about all they ever offer up and even that is a really bad combo.
You have to be able to look at things as a Republican to see why they would disagree with you.

For Republicans, the rich and powerful are Americans. The rest of us just happen to live here.

We're all here because of the charity of the JobCreators™, who give us jobs so that they can get richer and more powerful. We're here to breed new worker drones to replace the ones who get too old to make Americans richer and more powerful.

Now do you see? Republicans do enact policies that help Americans. Americans are the rich and powerful who donate to the Republican Party.
95% of the population of US Citizens aren't Americans, we're just the hired help. That's why we have to give rich people all the money, or they won't give the rest of us jobs.

If you're going to make such asinine statements then please explain to me....

#1 - WHY do the most richest americans live in the most liberal states

#2 - WHY do the most poor... AND homeless americans live in the most liberal states.

Go on, do tell.
Because the most people live there. Durrrrr.

If you’re looking for the states with the highest percentage of their populations in poverty those would be red states for the most part.

Pretty embarrassing you didn’t know this.

All I know is that the lockdown wiped out half of my company (with one of my fellow engineers committing suicide after he was laid off). I have been doing my job and the jobs of three other software engineers (all laid off) since the lockdown began and at 15% pay reduction. We are teetering on the precipice. IMHO, the payouts should go to small businesses as the lockdown wiped out 100s of thousands of them while the multinationals made record profits. I don't want or need a check (I didn't want the 1st one) but I do believe that if the government intentionally does economic damage to small businesses, they should be financially liable for those damages.... take it out it of the profits of the multinationals if necessary.

On a happier note, I get to work at home and I love it. Our CEO is talking about making it permanent and closing one plant. I believe working at home has tripled my productivity. I find myself working 100 hour weeks on a regular basis. I happen to enjoy software so much that I can't seem to stop doing it if access to my work computer is around 24/7. Also I purchased a genuine American made leather Amish office chair for $1300 and it changed my life. That supple (oh so supple) leather rubbing against my quivering thighs is a pleasure that I did not know existed on earth. When I die, the chair is going into the grave with me.

On the percentages, you're grossly mistaken about poverty-

Okay, I will.

#1 - Because they are not stupid. GOP policy makes every place that implements it a worse place to live. It funnels the money from the poor to the rich, causes infrastructure to crumble, and makes laws to restrict what people can do. The rich do not have to live there to get the benefits, so why would they?

#2 - Because more people live in liberal states in general. Because in the most highly populated states the GOP can't effectively gerrymander their way to victory.

Nevermind the "per capita" statistic that is a lot more relevant than just pure numbers.

More people live in Brooklyn, a borough of NYC, than 15 entire states.

Nobody is useless in terms of having a debate. He's mostly just screaming at a mirror.

So you're trying to sell me a narrative that they have a massive number of unemployed and homeless.... because the homeless fro mother states moved there?

You do realize that's a big ol' tub of bullshit that you can't prove, right? Like there is just homeless encampments in other states saying "C'mon down to California!"

Because it isn't just simple math. Go ACTUALLY pull numbers for the cities you're comparing to instead of pulling numbers out of your ass.

The answer is you won't. Because they don't align with your narrative.

This is how an raging moron would respond to @Fanatical Meat . He's one of the few posters who is very center and cutting the conservatards some slack, you included. You, however, respond like a raging moron.

Boston Wins!
1 out of 4.9 live at poverty or below

Savannah GA
1 out of 4.2 live at poverty or below

I picked Savannah GA because it in an old show last night on TV. Kind of random pick.

Poverty != Homeless.

What is poverty in Georgia is not the same as what poverty is in LA.

The unit of measurement is homelessness. Not federal poverty.

Homeless individuals as of 2019 were 6203 in Boston per the census

divided by total population is 0.0013 (rounding up)

Homeless individuals in Savannah GA as of 2019 was estimated at 4600

Divided by total population is 0.0158

Boston Wins Again

Homeless figures are not available for my City, I never see anybody sleeping outside at night. I do see two or three different dudes around downtown that appear to be homeless. We do have a boarding house type place down town so I don't think it is fair to call them homeless but they certainly don't rent or own a place. Regardless my Cities figure is going to be well below Boston no matter how we look at it unless we do deplorable math (ie: math that is factually incorrect)

You're dealing with a person who has to believe in certain things or his world view would crumble.

I'm waiting to be told how I am completely wrong and I don't understand anything or the deplorable math angle like the only figure that matters is homeless population density as in how many homeless per square mile or some ridiculous statement to avoid saying “Sorry, I was wrong”

I think it's funny how your original post says poor & homeless, when you lose on poor you say the thing that matters is homelessness, then you lose on that again.

Here's a thing for you. You made the original claim. You substantiate it with evidence.

Second stimulus checks: Bipartisan proposal with $1,200 direct payments rejected by Democratic leadership
A dysfunctional nation that cannot act and simply sits idle as people drown all around them.

None of it matters in the face of this-
