Why would the dollar collapse? That makes no sense. We roll our debt over in perpetuity because the country is effectively immortal. There is never a need to pay it off, ever.

Trump attempted to get state legislatures to disregard their own voting laws and cast their electors for him despite him clearly losing the state's own certified vote count.

What do you call it when the law sets up an election under certain rules, the president loses under those rules, and then tries to go around them to win anyway? Looks like you were just pretending to care about law and order. Shocking.

I have deeply mixed feelings about the stimulus.

The "$325 billion small business boost" is nothing more then a slush fund for Trump to give to his enablers.

Not a fan of the tax breaks for processing PPP loans, as only Trump sycophants received them.

Not a fan of the 1.4 billion to build Trumps wall.

Not a fan of the $44 billion in transportation aid. Let capitalism eliminate the weaker players. Airliners are horrible awful things for the environment, why are we subsidizing this?

Not a fan of $13 billion round of direct payments to farmers. We already subsidize farmers into a welfare industry, and they repaid us by doing everything possible to destroy this country. Let capitalism take its course and wipe out the small farmer.

Not a fan of Federal contractor relief. More welfare crony capitalism.

Not a fan of $7 billion to increase expand broadband access, we have repeatedly seen broadband companies take the money and use it to pay out executive bonuses. Rural broadband is coming with Starlink, and none of this money is going to help with that.



There are good things in the stimulus bill, but the majority of the spending is nothing less then straight up corruption paid for by the taxpayer. I am ok with the bill just failing.

People will blame the congress for the failure of the stimulus bill even though it was all Donald Trump but republicans never blame Donald Trump for anything, so instead people will blame congress. And whenever people blame congress they always blame democrats first, that is simply how it works. So when Trump derailed the stimulus bill, people will blame democrats in congress and the end result will be a loss for democrats in Georgia. At least, that's the plan. That is Donald Trump's plan.

Since the bill is in the White House's hands, there are only two options currently. Either Trump signs it or he vetoes it. If he vetoes the bill, I think both chambers are committed to an override.

So, if Trump does veto the bill, how is that projected onto the Democrats? The Democrats made Trump veto a bi-partisan passed bill? LOL!

If he does veto the bill, it's up to both chambers to override the veto. I'm pretty sure the House will, but if it fails in the Senate, which is McConnell controlled, how is that failure projected onto the Democrats?
