I searched google and all the tech forums that I know of and cant find an answer as to why I crash anytime I set the divider to 2/3 with anything above 225. Anyone have a clue as to why? Right now I have it prime stable for 8hrs at 9x263 with a 5/6 divider which puts my value ram at 215 2.5 3 3 7. I dont think im going to get much more out of this ram and would like to see 2.5 but I need a working 2/3 divider. Some help here would be great.

I have not been following the Venice threads real closely, but it seems like there are issues with some of the dividers. IIRC, the 1/2 divider seems to work well, although you are loosing some ram speed.

If it were me, I'd try 1/2 divider, 8x315ish for starters, HT x 3, and tighten up your ram timings. Keep raising your fsb until your cpu is maxed out and you should end up with a pretty fast setup. Though not ideal, the increases cpu speed and tighter ram timings should offset your slower ram speed. And in the end it may be your only option for maxing out your cpu w/out changing the limiting components.

I have the same exact mobo, and a winnie, haven't seen those problems. lower the LDT to 1x, try like 6x420, 1/2 divider, if it'll go that high. I don't remember exactly if it will, but I know it can do 300+ on the Htt, 'cause I ran 8x300 for a while.

My 9NDA3+ maxes out around 330... I serioudly doubt there are many boards that can do 420 at all (more or less stable).
