With the pandemic I have been working full time from home since march and my trusty Dell U2713HM is proving to be not ideal to work with multiple PPTs and spreadsheets at the same time (too much productivity lost switching between documents). I might be changing jobs to a "full-time" WFH position (I'll be travelling a couple times per month, but 70-80% I'll be working from home) so I think I might justify a screen upgrade
I have been looking at the Dell U4919DW, it looks fantastic, the aspect ratio seems very useful for productivity and I have very good experiences with Dell's monitors (I own a couple of them and can only say good things)

I play a few games now and then, let's say 4-8h a week, and I'm a bit worried about support for 32:9 monitors. Do games work with that aspect ratio? what happens if it doesn't? Black bars or just not working / distorted image?
Any experiences with that monitor model and/or playing games with 32:9 aspect ratio?
Do you know with any alternative with 1600 vertical pixels instead of 1440?
Thanks!
