3700+ San Diego.....what to expect?

my buddy got this system:

Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe Motherboard
Thermaltake (BOO!) 500w Xaser PSU (BOO!)
Ati Radeon X300Se (waiting for 2x BFG 6800Ultras)
2x512MB Geil DDr400 (Cas 2.0) waiting for another 2x512 of this
160gb WD Sata 150 drive 8mb cache 7200rpm
and other crap that has no effect on the oc's

but heres what happens when i put in my 2x512 ddr-500 a-data vitesta ram

WOW!!!!!!!!! 2.75ghz on stock cooling....with the white paste.....

i didnt belive it because all i did in the bios to oc was set the ram to run at DDR500 instead of DDR400, and wham-o i got 2.75ghz.......hmm, so i did some aquamark (like it better than pcmark, but will do that too) and got 12k+ on cpu and only 1.2k on the crappy x300se

now, either cpu-z and cpu-informer have some big glitch to fix........or this is the real deal.....2.75ghz on stock air!!!!!!

if its set to 250x11 in the bios, thats what it is. thats pretty good. lucky.
