It's the consumers fault. Letting e-tailors rip you off. By $40? That's almost 20% price gouging.

Just don't buy anything over suggested retail price. It's not like these are some limited cards or something that appreciate in value. No they're gaming cards and shouldn't even be a priority in someone's life.

So what if the Egg jacked the price on the 3870, there are alternative sites. Biggest problem right now is stock. When they start flooding in, prices should normalize....

I'm going to boycott newegg until they start delivering on Saturday's. What bullshit is this? I ordered my visiontek hd 3870 on wednesday, 6 pm when it came into stock. I asked for next day delivery (fedex) and rush processing. I still wont get the damn thing until monday. How hard is it for them to ask fedex to deliver weekends? IF fedex is willing to do it and the customer is willing to pay, why are these people not providing? THey say they close at 5pm but their computer only showed the card in at 6pm.

Their shipping process has been slower that what they used to be. Newegg isn't special that thrive to get customers anymore. It's like any other e-tailor now.

Yes I couldn't believe the price didn't go up the first day .
It did when the 2900xt came out . i bought mine for 409 early that morning and by mid-morning they were up to 429.

It really did look like the egg was going to keep the prices at MSRP, but I guess they came to their senses.

Newegg was pretty awesome when it first came out with it's prices and service. Nowadays, they are not even the cheapest anymore much of the time. Plus, they've been using that automatic price raising algorithm on any popular item. Pretty annoying. I'm going to avoid them for a while.
