They don't limit it to 10x7. Just the free version

I'm not badmouthing the program, I'm making fun of the morons who are disappointed that it won't run on old hardware.
I'll assume that once you start correcting my grammar, you now see my point. And just for your sake, I could care less, meaning it's not that big of a deal to me, I'm just trying to prove a point. Don't try to put words into my post.

This is part of my argument in this post. It's not a game, it's a benchmarking program. I will concede that FutureMark does try to push the program's use by sprucing up the graphics, which causes most of this confusion, but then it wouldn't be as popular as it is now. A program like 3DMark lives and dies on the amount of benchmarks entered into it's system.

Its a benchmarking program that supposed to measure performance.

If youre cpu limited (pretty much any SLI system) youre not getting anywhere near accurate numbers.

for default.

It depends on how you look at it.. Does 3dmock measure real world gaming performance? No. So given the fact that it is a vastly gpu limited synthetic benchmark, who cares if the default benchmark resolution is 10x7 or 16x12? It's crap anyway

But the point is that no matter what resolution you'll use in 3dmark results will not depict real world gamind numbers. They are far from being accurate. As I said we all now how gpu limited is the 3dmock and how little importance the cpu plays in comparison to core/mem bumps of the gpu. You have to bump the gpu to astronomical clockspeeds to see important in scoring? And that difference is nowhere near real gaming world importance of cpu, even at gpu limited resolutions.
