Only slightly better than your average cell phone camera but not as convenient.
How is that? What are the spec differences? between this and a cell cam?
Cell cam has a cmos sensor and less then 1 mp in most cases so pics bigger then the screen of the camer look like crap.
The cell phone has no flash so low light situations will turn out looking like crap.
You will most likely have to send the crappy pic you took through email and pay for sending it.
The cell phone most likly cost you over $100 to have the crappy pic feature so you can pay to email someone a crappy picture you took.
Again its a phone with a toy camera attached to it so you will buy it but still takes so so pictures
A real camera on the other hand since it is confermed to have a real 3mp sensor and its not hardware pixolated will have a much better picture res.
Should have a 3x optical zoom with the crappy digital stuff and if not it still will look better on a bigger screen.
With a real camera the pics you take can be put on photo paper and not look like crap because of the low res and streched out.
You can actually take the mem card or put a bigger on in it.
You wont have to email the picture to you, save as, then be able to host it.
Granted the camera may not be a good to cary around as your phone but the pics I have seen taken with a camera phone I would much rather you never bothered to send me anymore. I like quality shots and I have yet to see a decent one come from any camera phone yet that on my screen didnt look to dark because of lack of flash or had squares and out of focus because the low res when streched out to fit my monitor.
And I wish I had a frys because this would of been a very good choice fo a first camera for my son. Cheap, decent pics (supposedly), and if he droped it I wont have to kill him as much like I would if he droped my Panasonic FZ5
I can go on why ANY regular camera is better then some phone camera.
