4000+ x2 and zalman 9500am2 temps

Hi,

I have a64 4000+ x2 am2 with zalman 9500am cooler, oc to 2.5 ghz. My temps are 39c when idle and 50c full load. I just want to know are my temps ok or they should be lower. I think they should be lower.
what do you think about these readings?

That's not a huge OC, so I would say your temps are a little high, but it's nothing to worry about. They are still low enough that they won't hurt anything.

Mine is similar. I'm pretty sure our temps should be lower but this is probably because of a bad ihs mount. (The metal thing on your processor). I wouldn't worry about it however if your not going to OC more...

My 4400+ with AMD HSF are 32C/38C working 38C/45C load when room temp is 21C/28C.

You have a greater latitude for AMD CPU temps, still you can clean your HSF with alcohol, and reapply AS5. Apply a drop in the middle, spread thinly with a plastic card or baggy.

Or add a side intake and top exhaust 120mm Yate-Loon fans to add more cooling.
Your end result can save you 3C/5C, if that's needed.
