4830 1gb version worth it?

The difference between a 4830 1gb and 4870 is roughly $40 for me. Anyone know what the difference would be at higher resolutions (I would be playing at 1920x1080) with the 1gb? I'm curious if the extra 512mb would reduce the gap between the two. The reason I'm concerned with moving up to a 4870 is due to heat dissapted by the 4870 because I'm going with (hopefully) a mini ATX form (Antec P180 mini). Would that case adequately cool the 4870? This is a long term (3+) year setup.

with 4830 I really can't think it will be worth it to go 1gb, the money you pay for it you can get a 4850/512mb which is faster in most situations. better yet save the money and get 4870/512 which will be really worth is cash.

Id go with a 4870 512 (they are very cheap right now) over a 4830 1GB anyday.

Why not a 4850 1 gb if it will fit? 150$ Will a 4870 fit in a mini atx case?

edit :yes it will fit and the case is said to have good airflow.
