I seem to be getting less spam than I did before. I only have 1459 in my spam folder which I cleared back in July. That's for my main account. The others are under 1000. I did setup RBLs in my postfix config on my online MTA though, so I'm not sure how much stuff is being outright blocked. The stuff in my spam folder is what passes through my secondary email server which is in my basement. cpu power in my basement is much cheaper than cpu power online, so I keep the heuristic stuff on that server and only do basic filtering on the online one. A balance between saving cpu and saving bandwidth.

Just noticed the trash for my forum email is at 23 thousand though. All the forum email notification stuff. I have all those go to a separate email account. I'll skim through and then delete. Emptied the trash in under a second. I'd love to see MS Outlook do that. It would totally lock up the whole PC and maybe even the exchange server.

20155 in my inbox (and the Spam filter catches a ton!).
I really don't make much use of Archives.

I have more emails though, as some are filtered to Skip Inbox, and apply a Label. Let's see: yep, All Mail lists a hair under 26000.

Granted, I've had it '04 - and it's been my "catch all" address since then. I've since gotten other gmail accounts for specific purposes, one being my entirely professional inbox (job offers, career services, communication with co-workers).
