4G4A+ no screen, constant beep

Just installed this Epox 4G4A+ board with P4 1.8A Northwood and Samsung 2x 256Mb PC2700 RAM currently using onboard video.

SO i used Artic Silver 2 and set it 2 days ago. Made sure I did a good job.

I know the RAM works because I have used it in my 8K7A board previously.

So after I turn it on about 3secs later it just gives a constant beeping sound and nothing happens, no display, nothing.
I then changed the CPU bus jumper to see if made difference. Also cleared CMOS and swapped RAM to different slots.

do you think i have a faulty motherboard??

Did you get all the extra standoffs out? Try only one stick of memory in the middle slot?

Continuous Beeping: Memory or video problem

Explanation: The system is producing constant beeping in no specific pattern, or a fast "ringing" sound.

Diagnosis: This is usually caused by a problem with the system memory, or possibly the video card. The memory is more likely--the system complains long and loud if it can't find any usable memory, as there is no way to even start the boot process when this is the case. what exactly does your mainborad manula tell you about that beeping sound.. there must be some table explaining what the beep means.

the only thing in manual is the post codes that display on the motherboard indicator

when i switch PC on I dont get any codes show up???

i think i will RMA the board
