It might be better to just buy the motherboard, that should run cool, offer more features, and might get you a higher overclock on the same chip as well.

Also, even the 965P DS3 can handle 450MHz FSB, it's not the motherboard that's holding you back.

The 3.33 version can, the 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 versions seem to have trouble breaking 350.

In any case, just an update:
looks like I'll hold off for Penryn, with the new materials and slightly updated features, and hopefully better OC yields due to lower heat production and new fab. 65nm is on its way out. Another thing that's telling me to wait is that I finally broke 3GHz on my E4300 stably, with the help of SerpentRoyal. I'm now at 3.15GHz, up from the 2.7GHz i was at previously, and up from the 1.8GHz of stock. Amazing chip for the price . By my count that's a 75% OC.
