My house is in a wooded development and my lot sits in a small depression just inside the tree line. I'm trying to develop a highspeed internet source via Verizon 4gLTE. Verizon won't give me a home internet plan because their map says it's not available at my house, which is technically true.

The Western facing edge of my lot, which is also the tree line, is the cutoff for decent service. At the tree line the service goes from 5 bars to 2 bars. I got a free trial of Nomad Internet which utilizes Verizon's network. When placed inside the house it supplies 10mbps/1mpbs. When placed out at the tree line it supplies 55mbps/10mbps.

Is there some sort of unit that I could mount at the tree line, pick up the full service and beam or cable the signal to the house (150ft away) where the 4g modem/router would supply internet?

I don't know much, but that doesn't sound ideal. I would think that positioning the 4g device where it gets the best signal and then trying to connect it to a switch or router via a long cat 5 cable would be better? You might get better answers in the networking forum...

Order it by using someone's address that's serviceable or see if you can pick one up in the store. Or look into T-Mobile instead.

There's also some other options when it comes to antennas that will boost the signal to get better speeds. The top option for remote / not ideal setups is waveform.

I have the TM device and ripped it apart and tweaked things to my liking with different antennas for both the 5G and WIFI. These gateways are simple to work with when you pry open the plastic case.

They do make off the shelf repeaters you can buy, I don't have any experience with any but at some point I do want to play around with them on my off grid property.

Here's one that looks interesting, states it does 15k square feet. What I'd probably do is put the inside unit in a weather proof box at the base of the tower so it radiates further. The outside antenna is then mounted as high/far away as possible from inside unit (to avoid interference) and pointed at the nearest cell tower. Better if you get line of sight. In your case you could maybe even put the inside unit in front of a TV dish and point it to your property. May require a bit of RF engineering (AKA magic) to figure out the best placement. Or just trial and error.

Lot of them only do enough to cover a house, but my train of thought is may as well try to provide cell service to as big an area as possible.

I just found that one randomly on Amazon though so can't vouch for it or even the authenticity of the seller.

repeaters
Sometimes they work and other times they just cause more issues. Some are just complete bunk and ripoffs. If you're deep in the woods though a higher db is more directional for longer distances. The rf cone will be narrower. Unless you're dealing with FCC licensed gear it's still limited to 1w.
