<<While I agree he'll never keep it cool enough to do it... (not without some serious cash) but I have to disagree with you toph99. You say 12X133 is his max.. but the KT133A motherboards can go way beyond 133Mhz, I've read reports of them pushing 165mhz FSB? (maybe 155?) And I also heard that the maximum multipler was 12.5 (that could be wrong though) but ever 12x165hmz is 1.98, which would be damn close to 2GhZ, and if it was 12.5x165 that'd be over 2Ghz...>>
The highest multiplier is 12.5. The KT133A seems to max out around 150-155MHz FSB. I don't think you'd ever get it to 165 though. Even if you could though, you could never get enough voltage, and it would be extremely tough to cool without getting some pretty funky kryo stuff in there.
Thyme: Bet your friend money that he can't do it, wait until he does it, then laugh at him, collect your money, laugh at him some more, go to the bank, deposit the money, go back to his house and laugh at him some more. Then after that forever remind him of his failed attempt... Should be lots of fun!
