Evga 7900 GT super clocked
wow I don't get how 1500mhz + memory doesn't need some type of cooling on the memory..
Surely that OC would be impossible with that retard cooler?

Thats what I thought at first, but to be honest I dont think the one pictured is the superclocked one.

Yeah who knows really. It would be pretty nice if these carsd actually ran that cool... just imagine the OCing potential if these had nice coolers?
At anyrate the down side to the GT's is the 256 MB of memory while sure right now no games take advantage of the extra memory on the 512's I believe I heard games like UT2007 will be able to use up to 1GB of Vram...

Judging by those prices it looks like the XTX is still cheaper then the GTX.
Your looking at an XTX for $499-$520(?) against the 7900 GTX's $580-$600.
Something tellls me two $350 7900 GT's with 3rd party coolers OC'd in SLi would smoke most competition. I mean hell, EVGA's superclocked GT manages 550mhz and 1,580mhz memory using that pesky small heatsink (I think?). So imagine what the better 3rd party ones would pull off. This might be my first SLI set up yet
