honestly that would bother me. i too don't have a problem getting girls, and i am the guy in my group of friends who always gets the most attention if I go out w/just my guy friends only (and not w/my GF). i have turned down sex plenty of times. that is just how I am. the majority of my friends dont have girlfriends and want to go out and party and try to pick up differnt girls every time and try to fvck them. However they are hardly successful the majority of the time.

i have sex w/my gf more times in 1 month than those guys have in one year. and it is with someone that means something. i have only had 2 partners, and they have both been long term relationships. my first one was my highschool sweetheart and we were both virgins. This other girl that I am dating now has only had 1 partner as well, and it was also a long term relationship of hers from her highschool years.

so we are both on the same page about the whole sex thing which is good IMO. unless I was one of those guys like my friends, who goes out and tries to sleep with new girls every weekend, then yea, it would probably bother me. but if i liked her enough i would atleast give it a chance.

I gotta question that. As a guy, I can't see any single reason why I would be intimidated by a girl with more experience, if anything thats a plus. What WOULD intimidate me is the fear of a disease. But could be easily solved by getting a test, which would require presenting the question. I guess presenting that question would be the most initimidating thing.

Maybe she just had a few relationships that wen't bad? There's nothing wrong with having sex for fun. I had 8 when I was 19, it didn't feel wrong or quick in any sense. I think maybe you should look at the real world and stop sheltering yourself *not a flame, I just see this far too often thats all*

Ok, well, there is a lot in here to reply to, so i'm just going to try without quotes from each person. Please excuse me if i miss something.

First, (once again) it is not a man=stud, girl=slut thing. I call my guy friends that sleep around sluts. And I'm not saying she's a slut. She and I haven't talked much about this. As soon as she said "8" i changed the subject because it was a big shock.

Which leads me to this: It is not the number 8 that is disturbing. It is that she is only 19 and had 8 partners (and to answer someones question- yes, that means shes had sex with 8 dudes, not 8 relationships. I have no idea the distribution of boyfriendne night stands).

Why did I bring this up on ATOT? Well, its pretty simple really. I do not believe that I am always right about things in life. I think that hearing what other people, from other places, other walks of life think can be enlightening. Clearly this isn't a problem with HER, but rather with the way that I look at it. That being said, I didn't anticipate you guys making this decision for me, but rather I wanted to take a look at the situation through your eyes and experiences and see if I'm being unreasonable-which is more than possible. One of my buddies told me that I was being dumb and I guess I just wanted others opinons.

Finally, there were a couple more people that brought up the age thing. Yes, i'm 25 and she's 19, but its not some creepy wierd thing. Age is pretty irrelvant. My last girlfriend was 5 years OLDER than me. There are a lot of people who have even larger age differences. Its like, you meet someone and have a fun time and it really doesn't matter if they're 19. One of the cool things, I thought, was that here is a 19 yo who is pretty darn religious and probably a sweet innocent person. That is attractive to me. I think part of the problem is the shattering of that illusion. If I would have started this knowing that she was as she was, I probably wouldn't have started anything in the first place.

Hey, I wouldn't think that a striaght-forward, honest opinon is a flame. I'm looking for both sides of the argument and appreciate you sharing your views.

Once both parties are older than around 23, age is not that significant. Everyone's an established adult, so it makes little difference other than psychologically. But when one party is an established adult and the other is still involved with high school/college drama? Run away.
