Greets All,
Well, system is up and running. Been doing some Prime 95 and 3DMark loops for hours - all seems nice and happy.
Course today (the first real day I've not been installing) ... and play some Mp3s ... and then load up a movie trailer online. A few minutes into the trailer, the sound spurts and flutters, I get a BSOD reading Machine_Check_Exception.
After fumbling a bit, I pulled the card, and reinabled the NForce2 settings in the bios (to turn to the audio back on) and once back into windows, it detected all the new hardware, and I rebooted. Now back in windows ... and the trailer played perfectly three times before I got tired of watching it (and I can only get sound out of two of my four speakers = two plugs).
Any how ... ideas? I know people say the NForce stuff is better, but for now I'd like to use my SB ... and get to use it right.
Ideas? Suggestions? Questions? Any help is welcome.
