i was living in SLC at the time, coworker calls and woke me up at like 7am,

me: "*all groggy* hello?"

phone calls to nyc never get thru, i log into aim and around 10 IMs pop up all at the same time...wtf!!!...dang...

needless to say, i cancelled a couple of flights to visit my family in NYC that yr due to terroristic high threat warnings...

this remix done by Washington's 99.5 radio station gets me crying every time i hear it...

I saw it on TV at school. During a free + then in english class. saw them fall live, everyone in there was like silent for 5minutes.

It was a crazy day. not forgetting it anytime soon

We had a flag raising memorial on campus. One of my Marines was a few offices down the hall from where the plane hit the Pentagon. He seems to be doing well and is able to talk about it.

This is not some transient freezing to death down the street who made numerous bad choices - these were innocents.

We can all mourn on our own time; this is different because of the fact that it was an act of mass murder. I treat this event like I treat the Holocaust (on a different level, however), or the Rwanda or Kosovo killings.

People pay their respects in many ways and at different times. Respect for those who have fallen in peace and war. Think about it.

My girlfriend lost her second mother, three parents in all, to this thing. I happen to have witness everything from the top floor of my school, directly across from the East River. You my friend can leave this country, cause we don't need scum like yourself. We will never forget what happened that day, and you can go to hell. Admins should ban you for your stupidity

9-11 is different in that it was the unprovoked blood of civillians shed on American soil.

The other night on HBO I was watching the video of that horrible day and seeing the people jumping out of the windows brought tears to my eyes. I just cant express the amount of grief I feel for all those people who lost there lives and to their families.
