Nope.... actually I just downloaded a few movies (DivX), and they just don't fit on 80min CD-R... (they are around 750 Mb)... and overburn doesn't cut it.... Do PS2 games actually fit on these? And will PS2 read these?

Not sure if this is a good price (or even a good reseller ) but inc-tech has 90min CD-Rs:

10 for $6.20
50 for $29.50
100 for $55.00

Linky

Good deal? Dunno. Just giving options..

I'm glad that people are nice and have helped you to find what you were looking for. However, you still should change the thread title to reflect that this post does not belong in this forum. There is an IWANNA thread or off topic forum, if you still need more help.

I'm glad that people were helpful and you were able to get what you were looking for. However, you might want to change the thread title and ask in post in IWANNA or the off-topic forum if you need more help. Flames will probably come so long as the thread isn't locked or title isn't changed.

Ooh.. Two no-no's. Talking about downloading movies (at least call them "family reunions") and not posting this in the IWANNA post. As for the flames, you deserve 'em buddy.

You could just try splitting the divx movies into 2 parts.

And use regular cd-r's to make a backup.

It's what I do

Just my 2 cents.

Mer.

All I do is just cut off the ending credits of the movie with one of the tools at doom9.net. Usually saves about 50 megs or so.

you could try http://www.yesbuy.net/9099mincdrsi.html and get them a little cheaper (and you can buy smaller amounts).... I got mine yesterday and tested them with Nero SpeedCD, which told me I could burn up to 89:57:00 (which is what the compatibility chart told me before I bought them)... Only problem though is that none of my burning programs (CDRwin, WinonCd, the latest Nero, or Diskjuggler) will let me burn anything over 702megs... Nero let me adjust the setting but still gave me a "not enough room for media" error message. Tonight I will try converting them into cd images and then see if they will burn that way, and will also check for newer version of the programs I use... Good luck.

OnyxINC, this came off that web site for the versions you need:

New 99 minutes, 870MB CD-R. Up to 16X recording. To make a 90 or above CDR, you have to use NERO 5.5.4.0 or WINONCD software that supports over burning. Also, consult your CD Writer manufacturer on overburning.

Using a 90 minute CD isn't overburning since you're not fitting more than what the CD nominally holds.

Not only does your CD-RW need to support them, your reader also needs to be able to read them back. Thats really the biggest problem. Many CD players and CD-ROM's still do not read up to 90 or 99 minutes.
