I'll have to go through and correct the rest of the thread but up just right up front. MTV was 80s and was dead by the 90s; nothing but rap, Living World, and frat boys humping each other. Battle of the Planets was 70s not 80s.

Back to back series wins. Everybody in Toronto was crazy about baseball those two summers. Needed something to take their minds of the Leafs.

My mom had one of these. 1991 Oldsmobile Delta 88, white like this one. Hers had a spoiler.

Complete with glass cockpit! Green digital gauges and dash computer.

I had a bit of 90s nostalgia today. Was listening to TWiT on my way back to Nashville from Atlanta and they had a guest on named Adam Curry. I've heard him before, have even listened to a podcast he does with Dvorak from time to time, and it never occurred to me until today, when Leo mentioned an MTV reference, that he was the same guy I used to see on Headbanger's Ball back in the early 80s. Kind of a strange realization.

I miss the 90s. Watching Pearl Jam perform Even Flow live on Palladia right now.

Nah MTV didn't completely die until the mid-90s. It was still okay in the early 90s.

Our alternative station has been playing their "Top 500 alternative rock songs of the 1990's" countdown during the day for the Labor Day weekend. At night it goes back to regular, current stuff. The quality difference is, well, like night and day. Hearing them next to each other really reinforces how terrible 90% of modern music has become.
