9600 XT...ATI or Sapphire?

im about to purchase this card. Im gonna buy from newegg and im looking at two companies. Sapphire or ATI. Now the Sapphire is $172 and the ATI is $189. What is the ultimate diffrence between the two? Are there any reasons why I should take the ATI over the Sapphire? Which one should I buy.

yea..but those cards are little too expensive for me. Plus i am eyeing the half-life 2 coupon on the XT

188 is to expensive, yet your looking at 189? this also comes with call of duty, which is OUT, unlike HL-2. im not holding my breath for hl-2 anytime soon


edit--review of the card i just linked. OC'ed its on par with the 5950.

FWIW, ATI subcontracts some parts to Sapphire so they should be both be high quality cards.
Nick1985, I can appreciate that you want to help everyone to get the best bang for their buck but you really don't have to be so rude about it. If the man wants an ATI 9600XT after you've told him your opiniion, then don't call him a fanboy just because he didn't take your suggestion.

There's more to buying a video card than just benchmarks. After he has all the information in hand, if he decides that he wants the Radeon 9600XT, don't be a condescending @sshole: let him buy what he judges is the best product for him.
