9800 Pro overclocks

Ati Retail (r350) w/Vantec Iceburg cooling and OC ramsinks: 400/350. Both go higher, but don't see much difference in games. I'll shoot for testing all games at XT default and keep it there.

4.3 drivers, Rad Clocker

Got mine up to 450/720 with the arctic cooling. My 9800 pro has the R360 core so I'm sure that's helping. Some folks might have the older R350 core.

How can you tell which core you have?

I have my 9800np flashed to a pro bios and overclocked to XT speeds(412/365). Its still got more room for overclocking too. Im using the vga silencer

Speeds I feel comfortable running (it'll go higher but... for day-to-day use):
Stock - 400/350
VGA Silencer - 425/360

VGA Silencer: 419/369 as of right now.....maybe higher once I get my copper ramsinks and some more testing.

with stock GPU heatsink and crappy Radio Shack RAMsinks I can get 410/375...but if I try to run Prime95 while scanning for artifacts, to really heat up the system, it can't go that high. I leave it around 405/370 most of the time...if I get better GPU and/or case cooling I'll try for more.

Have a look at these Radeons
