9800np problems with my system

Everytime I try to install a new driver this happens:

Everything is Not Available. Scrolling down webpages is extremely slow and choppy, like how it is when no driver is installed at all. Plus no games work. Here are the drivers I tried:

1) Current ATi v4.5
2) Previous ATi v4.4
3) Omega's Current v4.5
4) DNA's Current v4.5

Only way I can get it to work is if I uninstall card or roll back driver so the crappy Plug N Play drivers install. Everything seems to work but games are capped at 60fps, not to mention they're old.

Any help or ideas?

bump for you, i was having driver problems with my 9800 as well.(pc would always reboot)
i tried everything and the only thing that solved it was turning the AGP down from 8x down to 4x.

i didnt notice a perfomance loss and it fixed my problems so meh

ok it fixed it, thanks a lot high. But like laxjax said I get random reboots when playing a game. My mobo only supports 4x max...

Stop using retarded Omega drivers and install the latest Catalyst drivers!!

Turn off fastwrites is step #1 for older systems.

system isn't that old (p4 2.4b @ 2.7) and omega turns fast writes off by default. I get reboots no matter which drivers I use, from ATi's to Dell's.

It's a great card when it works. I guess there's some conflict in my system so I'll just stick with nVidia for the time being.

i as well used every possible driver out there but nothig solved the problem until dropping it down to 4x.

took ur advice but my mobo (Asus P4PE) only lets me select AGP 1x or 4x. Brought it down to 1x and no crashes in Medal Of Honor. Still have to see how much it affected performance in Aquamark. thanks!

Also heard Catalyst v4.3 drivers are very stable, what I'm using now as well.
