My dad's dog will smell and lick the p00p of other animals, and perhaps roll around in it, but not eat it.

Otherwise, I've never seen him eat anything out of the ordinary. (No underwear or tissues.) He's pretty much only interested in what my dad eats, and he usually gets what my dad eats in some form or fashion.

My dad will buy a whole chicken for example, and since he does not eat white meat, the dog gets that. If he makes duck pasta, the dog gets the duck skin. If he grills trout, the dog gets trout too. If he makes Cordon Bleu, he gets that too. I sware, he eats better than most people on this planet. The again, he is our spoiled, know-it-all Münsterlander from Hannover, Germany. There are only some 300 of his breed in the United States.

Razor blades. Not the kind you shave with, the kind you put in a box cutter. Out dog ate some and had to get all knids of X-Rays and stuff. Then we went back a couple weeks later for a follow up and the razor blades were gone but a paper clip was in there. Argh!

My dog eats rabbit turds from the backyard. Any and all insects he can find and ice cubes, he loves ice cubes! We have a refridgerator that has the ice dispenser on the door and as soon as I press the button it starts making a grumbling noise. You'd think it was a female dog in heat he runs so quick from wherever he is in the house. It's a riot.

I've heard tales from friends of dogs who ate lightbulbs and cinder blocks. Our dog eats rabbit poo. Our old dogs used to eat cat poo out of the litterbox as well.

I've seen my dog eat chalk, styrofoam packing peanuts, ants, used kleenex..if it falls on the floor or has a scent he likes, he'll eat it. Things that fall on the floor will be gone instantly upon contact...he's learned to get stuff before we can grab it and throw it away.

Usually if my mom is making something and it falls, we let him have it...but he eats crap that shouldn't be consumed also, so we're trying to break him of the habit. Hasn't worked so far.

EDIT: oh, and my first dog ate a Christmas tree topper ornament once when he was a puppy. It was made entirely of very thin glass, and was bright red :roll:. Fortunately he was OK...but he never did that again.
