Ok, I am putting togeather a computer and I have a few questions.

I have 3 holes in my case (7A090-01 Foxconn full tower) that use 80mm fans. I have decided on getting Panaflo's for this. I think I will get the H1A's for this. Now, the thing that has me a bit lost on this is there is bare wires on these fans. Where would I get he connectors for them? I have looked up where to wire them (hooked to the power supply). What type of connectors would I need for these?

I am getting the fans from Teamawe but it does not say anything about the screws. Do these normally come with the fans, or do I have to get them also?

I want to get some screws for the back of my case. The ones that came with it require a screwdriver, and I would like to get the thumb screws that he sells on his site. Are the screws a one size fits all sort of thing?

Last but not least I need to get a fan for my processer. I am picking up a Thunderbird 1.2GHZ to put on my Abit KT7A board that I just got. What would be the best fan/cooling system for that setup? I will more than likly try to overclock it after I have had it a few days, and from what I have read on this site it seems like that makes a large diffrence in the type of fan that I should get. Any help on this one?

Thanks for the help.

They sell their fans with the connector as well as without. Look under the Tailed section. I've never used the thumbscrews but I am guessing they're the coarse thread that is typical of computer cases. I have ordered from Teamawe and unless they changed something, they don't send screws with them.

As for a cooler for the CPU, the Alpha 6035 is a nice versatile one that fits all socket-type CPUs. Alpha has a PEP66 model that is considered their best, but it does not fit as many motherboards because the fan is on the side rather than the top. A GlobalWin FOP32 would be another nice one and a bit less money, and you can also have a look at the Taisols, which cover a wide range of prices.

Millisec
Memory Man
The Card Cooler

Of these, Millisec sells connector kits for untailed fans, so if your fans are already on the way, have a look in Millisec's wire area.

edit: by the way, 5mm bolts fit the holes in the fan frame quite well. I think every fan I've screwed into place is held with 5mm x 0.8mm/thread allen-key bolts. Your local bicycle shop will have these if you want some. Just ask for "water-bottle bolts."

you can also pick up the 4 pin Molex connectors at a local radio shack if ya don't wanna pay more in shipping than they cost in the first place. to get 12v (which is what most fans draw...at least the ones worth a darn) all you need to do is to make sure that the red wire from the fan connects to the yellow wire from a connector and the black to either of the 2 black grounds.

yellow + black = 12v
red + black = 5v

but yellow + red + 2 black != 17v
