A little advice, please

So I picked up a Radeon 9000 OEM 128mb DDR card. I was wondering what I could do to tweak the best performance out of it? And as far as overclocking goes, I know nothing about it, if someone could explain or link to how it works, how to do it, and let me know whether I can do it or not? (Right now I don't even know what the current clock speed, but I know that these no-name ATI cards are clocked slightly lower than the retail ones)

Also, if I was to upgrade memory, would it help in performance for games? Alot?

Right now I have 256 DDR ram, not sure what kind exactly, but I think its around 233. Would it be worth it to get
a. More of the same ram
b. Get rid of the ram I have now and get 256 DDR 333 ram(or can you mix the two types?)


I know alot of the things I'm talking about is probably "said wrong," or just "wrong altogether" but bear with me

I'd really appreciate and advice, links, that kinda stuff.

You can start off by going to Rage3D.com and picking up a tweaking program called Rage3D tweak.As far as your memory question goes you would probably have to supply a little more in the way of system specs and what type of gaming your into.

AMD Athlon XP 1600
ATI Radeon 9000 128 MB OEM
256mb DDR (not sure of speed, but its well under DDR2700)
The current motherboard I'm using now doesn't support DDR2700, but I have another I'm going to switch to when if I get the RAM (MSI KT3Ultra)

I have the R3DTweaker, and I've activated SSE and 3dNOW, going to benchmark and see if it helps. What else should I change in the tweaker? I want to get the best performance, but I don't want my games to look like dog's breakfast

I like to play lots of 3D games, like Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, and lots of FPS like UT2K3, Jedi Knight 2, and Counter-Strike(where my performance is worse than a GeForce 2 MX for some reason?) Aside for CS, performance is good but I'd like to get higher framerates.

I want to know things like how to overclock, what you need to overclock, if you need cooling to overlock, I'm all new to this stuff!
