A64+XP SP2+Gunbound=Reboot

System spec is:
A64 3000+ 2GHz Newcastle core (and I believe it's the newest stepping, but I haven't checked, brought it at newegg a week ago it's priced different than their old 3000+ newcastle)
MSI nforce250gb "neo platinum" board
Gainward GF5700 Ultra with 128 meg or ram
Some generic 2400/2700 memories from "Simpletech" (2 Dimms 512+512)

Donno if it matters but my soundcard is m-audio revolution 7.1

Also has a 3com lan and a TI chip based 1394 card install

I ran memtest86 and it passed 100% a few times.

Also I ran 3dmark 03 demo for the whole night and it's still running when I wake up the other morning (I believe it run at least 6 hours)

googled this issue someone said it's because the sp2 and A64 combo that's causing the crash, downgraded it and the issue no longer exists.

BUT I WANNA SP2!!

yeah, I have the exact same problem, and I have SP2 and A64 :/
damn microsoft.

for the record, Media Player Classic also reboots my PC in a similar way.

Have you disabled DEP? search in General Hardware, OS, and here (in thread bodies) for how to.

I heard there were some issues with A64s and SP2. Can;t you just uninstall SP2? You did allow that option when you installed it, right?
