Hello im here to update my current situation with this board. I cant seem to find my old thread so i'll make a new one here.
Heres a quick recap, I originally planned to run my unlocked 2200+ Tbred "A" cpu at 1900GHz (9.5x200) using Corsair PC3500CL2 ram but instead i got it running at 2000GHz (10x200).
SYSTEM:
A7N8X Deluxe rev1.04 bios1001C
512MB Corsair PC3500CL2 w/Plat Spreader
AMD XP 2200+ Tbred "A" unlocked w/ wire mod
Enermax 461W PSU
Swiftech MC462A w/ Sanyo Denki 80MM FAN idle: 41C, load: 46C, motherboard:30C
eVGA 64MB GeForce3
WCPUID 3.1
FSB: 200MHz
Multiplier: 10x
Memory Frequency: Sync
Active Precharge Delay: 5
RAS to CAS Delay: 2
RAS Precharge Delay: 2
CAS Latency: 2T
Vcore: 1.825 (but the bios is reading it at 1.85)
DDR Voltage: 2.8
SiSoft Memory Benchmark
SiSoft CPU Benchmark
The system has been running stable for about 15 hours now running Prime95 Torture Test and Distributed in the background. So far I have not have it crash on me and things have been really stable and fast.
I just got to say that this motherboard rules and im surprised that I have met my original goals and exceeded them as well. I believe that my CPU cannot go any higher without better cooling and I also think that this memory, the PC3500CL2 has also reached its cap at the timings I have. I might be able to go higher if i relax the timings i think. However, i think im just going to leave it how it is now.
