a7n8x delux & usb header

hi guys, i wonder if you can help me out with this problem? i have an asus a7n8x board which is inside an antec 1080 case this case as you probly know has 2 front usb's which i have connected to the usb header on the board, my problem is i now want to put an internal card reader in the case but there are no more usb headers, is there some way i can make the usb header on the board into 2 or is there a connector that i can buy or will i just have to use just one or the other.

Your best bet is to pick up a card reader that has a regular USB plug like a mouse does. Then you can route the cable out the back of the case and plug the card reader into one of the mobo's rear USB ports and still keep the 1080's front USB ports plugged into the mobo header.

I have an aluminum Lian-Li card reader that happens to come with both types of cables, but since it comes only in brushed aluminum or black aluminum, it's probably not a good cosmetic match (plus it's a bit more expensive at $32). Maybe just hunt through Newegg's card-reader selection and see if you spot one that's got this capability.

thanks mechBgon i was trying to get away with still using this card reader, as i have not had it that long, looks like it will have to go, thanks again for the advice, top man
