I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe MB and I'm wondering if there is anyway to disable the memory check that occurs when the machine POST's. I have 1GB of ram in my machine and it can literally take several minutes for the board to run through the check for that amount of memory.
I usually hit escape to bypass it, but I occasionally forget and it's depressing to come back 5 minutes later and still see the MB checking the memory
It's more of a pet peeve than a problem, but it still drives me nuts
I'd appreciate any feedback.
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
Bios 1.001 G
AMD Athlon 2700+ CPU
1 GB Crucial PC2700 Ram
Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM ATA 133 HD
Samsung DVD/CD-RW Combo drive
